Madison

They always say breakfast is the most important meal of the day... but is it?

YES!!

You may be tired of hearing it but it is true. Breakfast is so important, and may be more important than other meals. Especially as a nurse, providing yourself with nourishment and energy before your shift makes a difference. Being on your feet for twelve hours at a time with limited breaks to eat seems like a good enough reason to eat breakfast in the morning. However, many nurses may not eat breakfast in the morning, explaining that they are not hungry when they firs wake up.

By the time we wake up in the morning, all of our energy is used from the day before, and we need more to get through the day. Eating breakfast improves energy, health, and brain power.
